Synopsis:
We’ll start with brief introductions and philosophy of the clinic, promptly followed by a safety/medical brief. Then a breakdown of the internals of the AR rifle system with discussion on proper maintenance and cleaning will follow. We’ll have a discussion on gear placement and then get a zero the rifles. Once zeroed, we’ll get into the fundamentals of marksmanship, drill on different types of reloads, how to handle malfunctions, addressing multiple targets, shooting from both sides, and shooting on the move. We’ll take a half hour for lunch, so bring a cooler with water and something to keep your energy up. The range will be closed for this clinic, so we’ll have lots of opportunity to work on skill sets commonly taught at higher level classes. You don’t want to miss this opportunity!
